1 Nights in Mpumalanga, South Africa

Entrenched in forests and mountains, Mpumalanga is nature's architecture at its best. The iconic Blyde River Canyon is described as a green canyon because of its stunning subtropical foliage, and is home to some of the most magnificent wildlife nature has to offer.

Day 1

Depart from Johannesburg and stop at the world's third deepest canyon, the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels. Take in "God's Window", Pinnacle Rock and Lisbon Falls.   

2 Nights in Kruger National Park, South Africa

Connect one-on-one with rescued elephants at the "Elephant Whisperer's" venue and meet a village chief along with the villagers in a cultural setting.

Day 2

On the banks of the Sabie river, enjoy a close encounter with elephants.

Depart for the Shangana Cultural Village where you will be introduced to village life and have an opportunity to meet the local chief and be immersed in local culture.

Day 3

Journey to Mthetomusha Game Reserve on the backdrop of the Malelane Mountains. The reserve is known for having a wealth of historic San rock paintings. Keep your camera handy for the open vehicle game drive as Mthethomusha boasts prime Big Five viewing and an exceptional array of bird life all in a pristine unspoiled natural environment.

The San are the oldest inhabitants of Southern Africa and the rock art viewing here is thousands of years old.

0 Nights in Kaapsehoop, South Africa

Kaapsehoop was founded in 1882 as a mining town but is now known for the large population of wild horses. Also travel back in time to the "The Devil's Office" or originally called as " Duiwels Kantoor", for a reviving retreat into the periodic past.

Day 4

Have another go with your photography skills during the morning game drive before departing for the mountain village of Kaapsehoop.

Enjoy a scenic drive back to Johannesburg.
