The "fishbowl" Ngorongoro is a caldera; popular for the diversity of species and Tarangire is a game reserve dotted by abandoned termite mounds, sheltering the dwarf mongoose.

You will see flocks of pelicans and pink flamingoes in the middle of the lake. The wide grassy flood plains in the vicinity of the lake are teeming with wildlife.
Day 1

After breakfast, depart Arusha for the incredibly beautiful Lake Manyara, nestled at the base of The Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you view game all around. You should be able to spot buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others. Feast your eyes on the sea of pink flamingos and a close-up of big tusked elephants. Dinner and overnight will be on top of the Great Rift Valley, overlooking Lake Manyara.

Day 2

Post breakfast we head down to the crater floor for a full day game drive with a break for a picnic lunch. Domestic cattle of the Maasai and the wild animals graze side-by-side in absolute harmony. Dinner will conclude the day back at the lodge.

1 Nights in Tarangire, Tanzania

The large herds of elephants lead to Tarangire National Park being dubbed the "home of elephants".The massive mammals can be found gathering around the Tarangire River. A number of large termite mounds dot the game reserve and the abandoned ones are home to the dwarf mongoose.
Day 3

Gear-up after breakfast and travel to  the Tarangire National Park on a 2 hour drive. Although known as the home of elephants, look out for leopards, lions, giraffes and other animals. The game drive will be until the late afternoon before we depart for Arusha National Park.

Often ignored in comparison to the more popular game reserves, Arusha National Park is less crowded and hence offers more chances of spotting the wildlife.
Day 4

Today you will spend a full day in Arusha National Park. Spend the first half of the day on a guided walk with an armed ranger  through the forest and up to the waterfall where you can watch the playful Black and White Colobus Monkeys at the viewing points. During the game drive you will see the  7 lakes of Momella and the Ngurduto Crater. At sunset we will drive back to Arusha.
