The heat-scorched scrublands extending from the arid desert, all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana is a picture of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm- fringed rivers. The endangered Grevys Zebra, the rare Beisa Oryx and the Blue-Shanked Somali ostrich are some of the species to look-out for.

Being one of only four private game reserves in Kenya, Sweetwaters gloats of privileged seclusion and private game viewing. It also provides a wonderful array of "things to do" on this vacation. It is an opportunity to connect with animals individually and be part of a Rhino conservation project.
Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi just in time to freshen-up and have breakfast. Head-out for a game drive across the Equator, through the homesteads and lush agricultural farmlands, to Kongoni Camp for lunch. It is time to buckle-up for an afternoon game drive at the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy. There are some excellent options including night game drives, guided bush walks and both horse or camel riding across its game-teaming plains.
