Activities tailored for your family ensure the safari experience is fun and educational for everyone. All children (aged 6-15) are given a Safari Bag with activity books, check-lists and various surprises to keep them entertained and engaged. Special excursions range from a donkey-cart village tour to mokoro races (dependent on water-levels), fishing trips and local school visits (depending on dates) while regular safari activities are planned around and adapted to your family’s wishes.

Day 1 & Day 2
From guided nature walks to

Family rooms in Camp Okavango can accommodate maximum of 5 people (2 adults/3 children, provided at least 1 child is between the ages of 6 -11 years)
For families with members older than 12 years, the family rooms can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and an additional room will have to be booked.
Children younger than 16 will need to share with an adult if family/triple rooms are not being booked.

Day 3 & Day 4
Nestled beneath the Ebony
trees, in luxurious camp styled tents boasting the amenities of lounge,
library, bar and dining room, you will experience the truly hospitable
spirit of Botswana.
Track the big game in the morning
and afternoon in an open 4x4 safari vehicle in the Moremi Game Reserve.
Explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding areas, keeping an eye out
for an astounding array of bird species, along with all the larger
creatures that venture to the water for a drink.
Camp Moremi is closed from 01Feb–01 Mar, 2017 for annual maintenance and also from 01 Dec 2017 to Mid April 2018 for a Complete lodge rebuild.
2 Nights at
Savute Safari Lodge in Chobe National Park,

Day 5 & Day 6
Along with game drive
activities, you can experience some cultural history with a visit to the
ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills, a small hilly outcrop
which forms a remarkable landmark in the otherwise flat landscape. (This activity may be restricted when large predators are known to be denning in the area)
The San are the oldest inhabitants of Southern Africa and have left rock art thousands of years old.
